So the price difference may be an additional $2,000. Relating to the financial side of things, the F10 has a $1,500 lease/APR credit available whereas the F30 has none (but we will see what happens in April). Also, the BMWCCA rebate is $500 higher for the F10 vs the F30, if you are a member.
140 posts · Joined 2011. #1 · Mar 11, 2017. My F10 came with "regular" and sports automatic options which impacted the gear shift. I like the look and feel of the sports automatic one a lot better. On the G30 it seems the gear shift is the same as what used to be the "non-sports" one regardless of which set of options you choose.

The M Sport, at least on the 535i, has a stiffer standard suspension starting with September 2013 production. The M Sport has staggered tires (30mm wider in the back) on rear-wheel drive models, and better "performance" run flats in your choice of all-season or summer.

Lucky for you, your 2011 F10 is a pre-LCI and so are ALL F10 M5's. The electrically adjustable steering column is the same part number on all pre-LCI (P/N 32306787926) F10's so therefor the splines are the same. The steering wheels you mentioned off the F10 M5 is mechanically interchangeable to your vehicle, but electrical options such as 1. 5W40 diesel - US Castrol Bottle. 2. 15W40 Mineral Oil BMW bottled i think. 3. 5W30 BMW Bottle. 4. Castrol TWS. if they stick with the 5W30 and don't introduce the Euro Castrol Bottled 0W30 or 0W40. i would flush that out immediately or not even take the car to the dealer for oil.
Nothing against the F10, but I think the F01 is a more impressive car. It is 100% a luxury sedan, but not "soft" by any means. I went from an M6 to the 7 and felt that the only thing I gave up was the brutishness of the M car. Of course, the 7 cannot handle like the M; but it had all the power I needed and the ride was comfortable yet still firm.
