I am a new owner of Audi A6 2010. And I would hope that you could inform if I am able to update my MMI using the same files as for A5's. I can see that the SW and Nav versions are the same in this topic for A5 and A6. Therefore it should be the same? SW: HNav_EU_K0206_3_d1 Nav:8R0060884N ECE 5.12.5 Thank you in advance.

For this activation you can buy another product [. moderated] Maybe Ross Tech should look into what this VCP can do, that VCDS can't do ?? - as I understand it, it can Read/Write the EEPROM - where the hidden menu and VIM
Press and hold buttons SETUP and CAR. After couple of seconds hidden green menu will appear. You can now release the buttons. Navigate to DIAG SETTINGS → HU CODIERUNG → STANDBY-BILD. Choose one of 5 options available. 0 – standard MMI screen. 1 – Audi S6 logo. 2 – Audi S5 logo. 3 – Audi RS6 logo.
A6 (C7 Platform) Discussion - A little Vag-Com and HomeLink action today - I Vag-Com tweaked the new car today. Successfully did the windows/sunroof remote control, needle sweep (boy, is that cool with the LED's or what) and D/S gear display. Also got my garage door working from the Home Link. I'll get around to VIM
