Check for Voltage (12V+) in reference to ground (any chassis point) at the Black wire, Pin #21 of Connector X14270 at the JBE, and/or at Pin #1 of Connector X107 at the Pump, when the Wiper stalk is pulled. Also check to make sure the ground connection at Pin #2 of Connector X107 is good. Takes BOTH to pump. George.
search. But basically, the Bosch Icon's are the OEM equivalents. The problem with them is that they come in english sizes (inches) and the OEM ones are in metric sizes. The differnce is minor, but people have complained they dont sit fully flush. That said, for what they cost, (15-20 each), I got the actual BMW ones for I think $45 from ECS tuning.
This could be one of two things. In any case you need to remove the wiper assembly to fix it. This is a relatively easy thing to do it is just a massive pain in the ass. Here is a post on E46 Fanatics with the procedure to remove the wiper motor. This requires mostly common tools but you do need the tool to remove the wiper arms, a small 2 arm
